There are famous deaf musicians and famous blind musicians. Why aren't there any famous blind artists? (Monet doesn't count. He was only partially blind, and that was later in his life.)
I don't know who you mean by "deaf" musicians. If you mean the likes of Beethoven and Pete Townshend, they experienced hearing loss that led to deafness later on in life. Like Monet. There are many famous TONE-DEAF musicians on the other hand. See Florence Foster-Jenkins.
Because musicians are waaaaaay better than artists. A deaf musician could totally kick the ass of a blind artist, mostly because the blind artists wouldn't be able to, you know, see the musician.
